GLOBAL SALES

The team is at the tradeshow Agenda Long Beach, LA, where they have met with potential distributors for Australia and potentially Canada.  Added new accounts in Mexico and learned today that Hibbetts received the bags and the brand is doing very well.

DESIGN

The team’s wrapping up Spring 2019. Several new designs and silhouettes - interchangeable Duchess bag, that can be worn as a backpack or cross body, a mini bag, and a Louis Vuitton inspired tote bag-  have been added to the load this and the artist expect to send out all the bags this week, in addition to some edits for the winter collection. Matt is lending a hand to help the team move BTS19 forward, and has focused on developing several bags for the Spacejunk Collection.

PRODUCTION

BTS18 shipping is almost finished with less then 3 % left to ship out.

Fall 19 orders are being given to factories and Sprayground has so far placed POs for 32,800 bags and 1,900 outerwear. New samples for Spring 19 are coming in while pushing for an early release BTS19 sampling and orders.

We are hiring an independent company to do better quality control on all products starting this Fall.

 

LICENSING

We are continuing to go through renewals for expiring licenses and confirming new contracts for BTS 19. As we are finalizing HOL 18, we need samples to send out to the licensors for evaluation. This week we had calls with perspective licensing collaborations such as: Betches and Cannabis Now.

 

MARKETING

The team had three shoots this week, a NoMad shoot, a NBA shoot and a Japan collection shoot, and is planning for a Bali Baby shoot on Monday, 2 July 2018, while working on finalizing the schedule for the upcoming LA trip and the second BTS 18 launch.

We are also in the process of locking in a location (potentially) in Time Sq for the New York pop up in August.

SALES

Sales continued to reach out to accounts to get orders out. Danielle is at the Agenda Long Beach LA Tradewhow looking for new customers and meeting existing customers mainly from the West coast. Ralph exploratory mission to Long island has reaped benefits as we broke FIVE new accounts: Sidanas, NY tent sale, Exclusive footwear, Street gearand Worthy lux. Yeah! keep on rockin’

 

OPERATIONS

Another big week for allocating wholesale accounts including more to Nordstrom & Zumiez and chains – Shiekh in California, Kicks USA in Pennsylvania, Outdoor Empire in Florida, Against All Odds in NJ and Manhattan Fashions in Georgia, in addition to numerous boutiques across the country as well. Internationally, we’re allocating to distributors in Singapore & China, while continually tracking incoming styles as they come in.

 

ECOMMS

This week one eComm went as planned.  Sprayground’s online traffic was full on as people are waiting for the new drops. Finally some original art bags are starting to pop, especially in the girls department. The Bo$$ makeup, pink gummy money and candy shark are amongst the best sellers. For licensed the sponge bob pineapple party and Sylvester tweety bags are doing extremely well. The core line swell continues to perform outstandingly.

 

Highlight of the week: The team went camping to get content for BTS.
